Help with balance If you are doing stretches or maybe even one legged deadlifts, you might have some trouble balancing. There are certain things you can do. Stare at something that doesn't move to give you an unmoving reference point. Keeping your ab muscles braced helps as well. But give this a try. Pull on your ear. Sounds silly, looks silly, but it works. Slow down your eating One of the tips I learned from the Emotional Eating seminar we had while back, was to chew your food 50 times. That really does help. My record is 38 chews, still working on it. Something I learned from being in a cast for 6 months is to eat with your weak hand. My right arm was in a cast, I'm right handed, so eating with my left hand was very inefficient and slower. Stop the sweating You know that "I've already showered, got dressed but I can't stop sweating" feeling? It's not so great. Try running cold water on the inside of your wrists. Because of the high concentration of blood vessels in that area, it can help cool your entire body. Getting claustrophobic? I'm slightly claustrophobic. I'm not sure I could ever ride in a smart car. You didn't hear this one from me if you get in trouble. But next time you're in a rush you can try this and see if the elevator is programmed this way. If are in a hurry you can make the elevator go to your floor first without waiting on all the other floors. Push and hold your floor number while also holding down the close door button.
